The department of Swasthavritta and Yoga of Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Pune had organized a programme for observation of Global Handwashing Day on 14th October 2025 at the department. The programme commenced with the importance of handwashing for healthcare professionals, information about World Hand Hygiene Day (May Sth) and Global Handwashing Day (October 15th). A pledge for maintaining good hand hygiene through thorough handwashing was taken as part of the programme. A demonstration of steps included in Handwashing based on the IEC material by the World Organisation was held. The programme ended on a positive note with a spirit
